Mid Summer Report

Afternoon showers and cooler day time temps have really kept the Gallatin fishing well. Smaller classic's and BWO nymphs have had the best result's.  Stick to the shallow fast water during the mid morning and throughout the day.  Streamer fishing has picked up considerably in the canyon in the deeper, heavier run's while the evening bite has been less productive than we are used to this time of year.  The tributaries offer the best dry fly fishing, so grab a 2 or 3 weight and hit up the small streams for some fun and challenging fly fishing.
