About the owners, Dave & Katie Alvin:

Long time local "Super Dave" has been fishing since he was knee-high to a grasshopper. During the last two decades he's been in Montana guiding, outfitting, fishing for fun, and skiing inbetween. When he's not on the water, you'll find him on the slopes, trying out all the gear so he can help you get outfitted perfectly. He has been involved in the recreation industry since 1986 and his goal it to make sure his clients and customers get the best information and the best gear at just the right price.

Dave's wife Katie has been fishing since she met Dave in 1994, and has been studying or working in the field of natural resource management for nearly two decades. She is currently the Executive Director of the Jack Creek Preserve Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to wildlife conservation and youth education.

Dave and Katie caretake an 80-acre property in Big Sky with their two children, three dogs, and a cat.
